Badalassi Carlo Wax - Olmo

Badalassi Carlo Wax is a premium full-grain vegetable tanned shoulder leather, crafted by the famous Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo, a proud member of the Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium (Vera Pelle). This leather is tanned using a centuries-old method in wooden drums with natural oils and animal fats.

During the tanning process, wax is added to the leather, creating a distinctive pull-up effect—the color lightens when the leather is bent or folded, enhancing its natural character. Over time, Badalassi Wax develops a rich patina, making each item truly unique.

Made from the shoulder cuts of the hide, this leather offers a high yield of clean, usable surface with minimal scarring or insect bites. It is ideal for crafting high-end leather goods, including wallets, bags, belts, and footwear.

1.6-1.9mm ( 4–4.75  ounces ) is used for wallets, bags and smaller thinner goods.
